Through city streets i walk, feet pound the pavement below me, low murmurs in the wind surround me. I am so disconnected from the world lately and it scares me. It scares me to not sympathize and it scares me that I’ve become so numb.
To not hear an others words and to not care about them is deeply unsettling and i wondered when i had become this way…The feet pound the pavement louder and it is truly agonizing to hear. The murmurs grow clearer.
this isn’t about how hard life is…this isn’t about how cold this world is…it’s about how selfish i am…and while the name spells hope the message is truly despair, don’t feel uplifted and don’t try to relate, this is conceited and isn’t for you.
And so we continue a life of looking forwards and thinking of grand thoughts, but forever we know that those murmurs in the wind were our own, those footsteps were leading nowhere as well as anywhere. And I know as well as you do that we are all conceited and we are all disconnected….and I am glad for that.
The city is deserted but the footsteps grow louder still….and the murmurs are now my own.
We got the final Oh Snap! show of the year next Thursday (30th), hope to see all of you down there so we can all enjoy an intense show put on by the bands playing.

had prac last night, made a new song, sounds a bit different to our other stuff, more doomy…if you’ve heard mouth of the architect think along those lines…but less metal (we’re pussies).
anywho, once we figure out how to compress a video on these fancy computer machines we will post a video of us at prac, playing the song…still fairly rough but you get the idea.
